Superintendent General (SG) for the Eastern Cape Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform, Mr. Lumkile L Ngada was the Deputy   Director General responsible for agriculture development.He has been in the department for more than 20 years and has served in different portfolios. He has a Masters Degree in Agriculture and has a strong technical background.
Adding to his accolades in the department, he acted as the head of the department in 2004 and also lead the transition of Dohne Research Institute. He believes in high-quality work, excellence; and innovation. His wealth of experience and expertise will; surely make the department to be able to discharge its mandate of creating a food secure province.
